A regular gel manicure uses thin, polish-like gel for color and shine. Structured gel (also called builder gel) is a thicker formula that adds strength and support, making it great for weak, bendy, or damaged nails. It’s like a protective layer that helps your natural nails grow longer and stay strong.

Structured gel nails typically last 3 to 4 weeks with proper care. You may start to see natural growth around that time, so regular fills or maintenance appointments are recommended to keep them looking fresh and strong.

Yes! We offer safe and gentle removals for both gel polish and structured gel. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to remove acrylic and dip powder. Please have that removed prior to your appointment with us. Ready to take a break, we’ll make sure your natural nails stay healthy during the process. Just be sure to book a Naked Manicure (removal appointment) — DIY removals can cause damage!

We require 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Cancelling or rescheduling after that will result in a 100% charge of the missed service. Frequent cancellations (3 or more in 6 months or 2 consecutive) and/or no shows will result in the termination of future treatment/service.

The salon is child-free for everyone’s relaxation. Please arrange childcare prior to your appointment. If you cancel due to childcare issues, please do so 24+ hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. If you arrive with a child, we will kindly ask you to reschedule and you will be charged for that days missed service.

Minor children may receive a service at Piper Gretchen. A parent or guardian must stay with them through the duration of their appointment.

Yes! We do work on nails that have been damaged or bitten. We will assess the nails at the start of the appointment and determine the best approach to safely and effectively achieve your nail goals.

Yes! We love inspiration photos! Please keep in mind that they are inspiration and will not be exactly as the image shows. We are artists, not robots or machines. We love creative freedom! Please submit inspiration photos 48 hours in advance. You may text them to us at 970.306.6130.

Yes! We love hosting bridal groups, birthday groups, and more. Please inquire at hello@pipergretchen.com. The more notice we have the better!

Great question! We sell a variety of cuticle oils and hand creams to help keep your nails and skin looking its best. We recommend cuticle oil 1-2 times a day or when feeling dry. Wear gloves when doing household chores. Don’t bite or pick at them.
